FROM/DE: Napanee Detachment DATE: July 2, 2009 Woman Robbed in Deseronto (NAPANEE, ON) – Detectives with the Napanee OPP are appealing to the public for information after a woman was robbed in Deseronto last night. The woman was walking home from the park on Main Street after watching the fireworks display. At approximately 11:30 p.m,. while walking on Thomas Street, she was shoved to the ground from behind. Two males grabbed the woman’s purse and fled in an easterly direction on Thomas Street. The males are described as being in their late teens to early twenties, slim, both wearing jeans and one wearing a black baseball hat. One male had long black hair. The woman suffered minor injuries.
